Deviation Actions
As some of you will know, I am doing less and less with doll photography, to concentrate on writing. I think it would be better for the group to be run by an active member, so I asked Danyd10 if he would be willing to takeover and he readily agreed. The change takes place immediately.
Dany, as you know, designed the group's avatar and has contributed some great material. I hope you will support him as the group goes forward.
I would like to think I'm leaving ThemMiniatures in a good state. We've had several new members who are keeping up a supply of regular submissions. The gallery looks really good. I wish Dany and all of you all the best for the future.

Uploading section 2.0
Hey everyone, Danyd10 here.
After receiving a message from one of our members about still being unable to upload his pictures to the right folder, I've done a second modification to the Uploading section to see if you can upload your pictures with no problem. This time all your submissions must get in the chosen folder automatically, so if any of you still has issues, let me now ASAP.
Just remember the type of content you must upload to each folder:
FEATURED: The folder that highlights new contributions to the group.
BARBIE AND FRIENDS: Barbie, her friends and family, along with related dolls such as Monster High, Liv, Integrity, Tonner e

After a really long time checking out settings and permissions, I think I've been finally able to do the modification some of the members have been asking for:
Uploading pics to specific folders.
Now, before going totally into this modification, I'd like to clarify the following points:
1. You must be able to upload your pics to any folder now, not just the "Featured" folder. Nevertheless, I must approve your uploading first so it goes to the correct folder.
2. Remember that every folder has specific content. In case you don't know the content description for each folder, here they are:

New Avatar!
The deadline has expired for the ThemMiniatures avatar contest. A big thank you to ~Danyd10 (https://www.deviantart.com/danyd10), who submitted two entries and won the prize. I selected his animated entry, which includes the brilliant tag line "All you can imagine in 1/6 scale". So, we get a new icon AND a marketing slogan. Thanks Dany, great work.
Group Avatar Contest
Varkeo took down the old avatar when he left and I knocked up a temporary replacement. The group really needs something better, so I'm launching a competition, with a very small prize, in the hope of finding someone more gifted than me to create one.
To enter, use the Send a Note button on the group page, with a link to your artwork, by midnight Friday 12th August.
Avatars must be 100 pixels by 50 pixels and no larger than 30kb.
It must be your own work and not contain anything belonging to someone else.
It must conform to DA rules and not contain anything that would require a mature content tag.
It can be based on any art medium that DA can
